CRAWLING ON THE GROUND, Morishita continued to stare at the soil through a

magnifying glass.

Yamamura had been watching this scene in astonishment for over 20 minutes.

"Shouldn't we head to the meeting location now...?"

"Not yet. Please don't disturb me and just wait quietly."

"But... we're already past the meeting time, you know...?"

"What's the harm in making him wait? It used to be the era when women waited. Now it's the

era when men wait instead."

"I-Is that so...?"

Yamamura, who had never heard such a thing, asked again, but Morishita ignored her and

continued observing.

As she gripped her cellphone and stared at the time, a call from Ayanokōji finally rang.

"Ah, um, sorry I'm late."

I guess I really need to hurry,Yamamura thought as she looked at Morishita, who gave her a

sharp glare.

Then, she gestured vigorously to hang up the phone.

"Eh, hang up the phone...? But... it's past the time we agreed..."

'Is Morishita with you by any chance?'

Perhaps frustrated by the ongoing phone call, Morishita stood up and approached

Yamamura.

"Ye-yes. Um, please come to the back of the dorm, ah, stop messing with my phone—"

button to end the call.

"That's fine, Yamamura Miki. I am testing Ayanokōji Kiyotaka."

After returning the stolen cellphone to Yamamura, Morishita went back to searching for bugs.

"Yes, a test. I want to know in detail what kind of attitude he shows when he's kept waiting,

how he behaves, and how he acts towards us."

"...W-Why would you do such a thing?"

"Something about Ayanokōji Kiyotaka is fishy. He's trying to use us for something. Also, I've

heard a little from Sakayanagi Arisu... Oops, but that's a secret, okay?"

After answering, Morishita fell silent.

Her bottom fidgeted.

She was so engrossed that occasionally her underwear was visible beneath her skirt.
