IAN'S POV
As I entered my next class, I took a deep breath and tried to focus on the lesson. But my mind kept wandering back to Leah and how much she had been hurt by her mate.
I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of anger and protectiveness towards Leah. She was such a sweet and kind person, and she didn't deserve to be treated the way she had been. I wanted to make sure that she was never hurt like that again.
As the day went on, I kept thinking about her and how I wished she was with me.
Then Pete walked up to me.
"Hey, men! Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, I guess..." I replied.
"Don't tell me you're still thinking about that girl you took to the welcome party," He said.
"You don't understand men, I can't get her off my mind," I said.
Pete rolled his eyes. "Dude you've gotta let her go. She has left our school for good. So just forget about her and move on," He said.
