CHAPTER 16 Party

  IAN'S POV

The next day, I woke up very early and decided to take the teacher's advice and went for a run, feeling the wind in my hair and the sun on my face. As I ran, I let my thoughts wander and tried to focus on the moment.

I felt the tension in my body ease and a sense of peace wash over me. After a while, I returned home, feeling refreshed and a bit more hopeful.

Later that evening, I heard a knock on the door. I opened it to find my father standing there looking angry.

"Father, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I got information that you haven't been concentrating in class from your teacher and I was surprised to find out that it was because of a girl! What the hell is wrong with you son? I didn't send you to this school to fall in love but to train you to become the next successor of our Pack Ian," My father said.

"I know Dad. She's my friend and I was worried about her, that's all," I said.
