LEAH'S POV
Three years flew by.
My daughter Lana turned three, a tiny beacon of light in my life. Meanwhile, my sister Clara was getting ready to step into the role of leading the Lunar Pack. Things were changing.
I found myself thinking about our family's protection. Clara and Dad had shielded me and my daughter, but I realized it was time for me to stand on my own. I wanted to make a difference, not just for myself, but for my daughter's future.
One evening, as I watched my daughter play, I spoke to Clara about my decision.
"Clara, I've been thinking," I began tentatively.
Clara looked at me, curious. "About what?"
"I want to finish my studies and return to the pack," I admitted. "I want to help you manage things and create a better life for my daughter."
Clara's eyes softened. "Leah, you don't have to do that. You've been through so much already."
