CHAPTER 57 Friendship 

  IAN'S POV 

  But I also knew that I couldn't abandon my duty to the pack. It was a difficult and impossible situation.

  When I got back to my apartment, I sat down on the couch and took a deep breath. 

  I felt tired and overwhelmed. I needed to clear my head and try to figure out what to do.

  I closed my eyes, trying to block out all the noise and chaos of the world and focus on what was in my heart. And as I did, one thought kept coming back to me, clear and strong: I love Leah. 

  She is the one I want to be with, more than anything else. And I know that I have to find a way to make that happen, no matter what.

  As that thought solidified in my mind, I felt a sense of clarity and determination. I knew what I had to do. I had to talk to my Louisa again and try to explain my feelings and my decision. 

  Hoping that she would understand and trust my decision.

  So I took my phone and dialed her number.

  The phone rang a few times, and then I heard her voice.
