LEAH'S POV
"Rightfully yours? Ian is not some trophy that you win from a competition okay? He's a person who wants to do things the way he wants. He doesn't want anyone to decide who he wants to be with or who he should marry.
His parents forcing him to marry you don't understand who he really his and what he's capable of." I said.
"Oh please… save your speech for someone who actually cares." she said.
"Ian is mine. So back off."
"You don't love him, you just want to win him." I said.
"I don't want to win him," Louisa says. "I thought we were going to spend our lives together. We have so much history. I don't understand how you can just come in and change everything so quickly."
"It's not like I wanted this to happen," I say, starting to get frustrated. "I'm just following my heart. I know it's not fair to you, but I can't help how I feel. Please try to understand that."
