Ella's POV
Their blood frizzled on my tongue for a second before it exploded in my mouth, making my head snap back. But it didn't stop there, and the sickening sound of my neck breaking shot through my body.
All I felt was pain, immense pain.
My spine cracked, forcing me back like a stringed bow while my body trembled and ached. Blaze took my baby girl from me as muscles and skin tore apart with bones breaking. My hands twisted at unnatural angles, leaving me unable to scream or gasp for air.
The feeling of being thrown into a horror movie appeared as I imagined my mouth just being erased from my face.
My lungs burned, ached, and screamed for oxygen. But instead, my throat shifted, blocking everything as tunnel vision crept in on me. Suddenly, something forced me out of the way and turned my consciousness inside out. Panic set in before I accepted that Blaze was holding my little girl safe.
