CHAPTER 34 Stalking

  Tristan POV

Mason doesn't return to the pack house for several hours. He is fully healed and in fresh clothing. Titan grumbles angrily in my head, knowing Mason has clothes at our mate's home. Their relationship must be more serious than just some passing fling.

'Mason did say he loves her,' I sigh in my mind.

'It doesn't matter,' Titan growls. 'She is our mate.'

'Mason is our Beta,' I sigh. 'We have to try to make things right between us.'

Titan snarls in my mind before retreating to the depths of my mind. It is clear he won't be forgiving Mason any time soon for sleeping with our mate. It is going to make it challenging to run this pack with him by my side when my wolf is determined to murder him.

A rapping on my office door frame causes me to look up from the paperwork on my desk. Mason is standing in the doorway with a duffle bag in his hands.

  "Going somewhere?" I ask him.

"I am going to live off pack territory for a while," Mason says in a clipped tone.
