Travis' POV
'A little cold back there, your highness,' Clayton said in my mind as I paced up and down the living room 'I feel like your treatment of Alyssa was a little uncalled for. She's our mate now, you would do well to treat her as such,'
It was dark outside, but the lights from the garden illuminated my favourite bed of flowers, which had become somewhat of a comfort to me. Especially the bluebells, those were my Mothers favourite flower.
'Mother loved to plant those Bluebells,' I said, distracting myself from the pain I felt inside 'I miss her incredibly,'
'Indeed,' Clayton added 'She was a great woman, but let's get back to the matter of why you treated Alyssa so unfavourably,'
'I know,' I replied with a sigh, knowing Clayton would bring this up as soon as he did 'I regret being so stand offish with Alyssa, but I don't know what else to do,'
