"Avery, get in beside Daisy. Buckle up." Gabriel ordered, which Avery did as she was told immediately.
"No. Gabriel, I demand to know what is going on? Why should I leave with you when you will not explain anything." I sulked as he sighed and looked over his shoulder.
"Just do as I say, and let's go." He growled, looking me straight in the eyes, which caused Avery to lower her eyes and show her kneck. I frowned at her and then proceeded to scowl at Gabriel. He ignored me as he said something to the driver.
"What has happened?" I asked Avery, my voice laced with frustration as he refused to explain himself.
"I. I don't know." Avery whispered nervously, looking up to ensure Gabriel did not hear her. If he did listen to her, then he only ignored her anyway.
