''Daisy, you don't look so good. I should call for a doctor.'' Avery said to me.
''It could be something to do with the baby,'' I told her. ''I'm still so early.'' should we call Gabriel?'' she asked, but I said no As I didn't want to disturb him.
Avery looked concerned, her brows furrowing with worry. "Daisy, your health and the baby's well-being are the top priority. Gabriel would want to be here for you, especially if there's even a slight possibility of something being wrong. Let me call him."
I hesitated momentarily, not wanting to burden Gabriel with my health concerns. But Avery's insistence and the worry in her eyes made me realize that I couldn't handle this alone. I nodded, giving Avery the go-ahead to contact him.
"I'm sorry, Daisy," Avery said with a sympathetic tone. "He's not answering, but I left a voicemail. I'm sure he'll be in contact soon. But right now, let's focus on getting you to the hospital. The car is already waiting for us."
