Daisy's POV
Two days had passed since me and the babies had been discharged from the hospital. I wanted a moment just me and the babies at my mother's grave. I knew that she would be proud of me for everything that I had achieved in my life. I couldn't explain how much it hurt me to miss her. Looking at those tiny faces, I would hate never to see them again.
Gabriel had been even more protective of me and the babies since we arrived home from the hospital.
Avery had promised him that she would not take her eyes off me or the babies, so he had agreed to let me go, knowing how much I needed it and how vital taking the babies to meet their grandmother was.
I stood in front of my mother's grave, the twins sleeping peacefully in their car seats behind me. It was a beautiful day, the sun shining down on the grave and the flowers surrounding it. I had come to visit her here, to feel close to her again. I could happily spend hours here.
