　　"Had some pending work from the office to finish up before going home, and it took more time than I expected, so I decided to spend the night here" Ethan said, "Can I join you?" He asked.


　　"Sure, sure," Everly said with a fast note, and she adjusted on the bench, making space for him.


　　"The night is too cold for you to sit out here without a jacket, don't you think?" He asked, taking off his jacket before taking his seat, "put this on" He added, stretching the jacket out to her.


　　"Thank you, I was too busy with my thoughts to feel the cold" She replied, taking the jacket from him.


　　Ethan was quiet as he watched her put the jacket on, if he was not aware of the drama between her and Leo, he would have by now been wondering what kind of thoughts could shut one out from feeling the numbing effect of the freezing weather.
