"Answer me" He barked at her after a short pause, "You have come too far to come and stand here, mopping at me."
"No" Everly murmured a reply, her head slightly bent.
"I gave you a plain instruction just this once, and you decided to act faster than your shadows," Leo said, following his sentence up with a loud sigh, a disdainful look on his face.
"Now let me warn you," he started, pointing his index finger at her as he stood up from where he was seated, taking little steps towards her.
"Don't you ever set your foot here In my room if I don't call for you because if you do, you will regret the day you stepped your feet into this house" Leo warned, "Am I understood?" he went on to ask when he got closer to her.
"Yes," Everly replied in a trembling voice as she felt his minty breath on her face.
