CHAPTER 23 The Villains

Alfred was irritated by Grace's behaviour. This time she had gone too far.

"I miss you, so I came looking for you, Honey!" Grace whined, clinging to Alfred's arm like usual. It turned out Grace was at the juice bar, not far from the café Alfred had visited. He immediately went there and scolded Grace for violating his privacy.

"Don't you think this behaviour of yours is like stalking, Grace Williams?" scoffed Alfred as he pushed away the clingy girl. Grace widened her eyes, not wanting to argue.

"What is wrong with you, Alfred? Why are you so cold? Not like your usual self!" Grace yelled, but Alfred quickly dragged her out of the juice bar and cornered her near the emergency stairs, after a quite long journey, about 15 minutes.

"Listen. I'm still working here. You shouldn't just show up and cause a scene! What is wrong with you?" Alfred growled. He was being cold because he had just realised that choosing Grace over Hazel was a big mistake.
