The sound of the helicopter faded as Hazel, who was in Don Ramon's grasp, along with two others, headed towards the basement.
The basement.
The dark and stuffy building was only illuminated by the flashlight carried by Sanchez, while escorting Flynn who obeyed every word Don Ramon said, despite hobbling with his bloody, limping leg.
"Hey! Hurry up!" Sanchez pushed Flynn's trembling body to make him walk faster. Flynn groaned slightly but tried to hold it in. He didn't want Hazel to be sad and lament his condition.
"Fly—Flynn," Hazel called softly, even though she couldn't look back. The four of them walked in a line, two by two at gunpoint, as they passed through the secret corridor leading to the old building at the mansion's foundation.
Hazel and Don Ramon went first, followed by Flynn and Sanchez. No one else followed them. Don Ramon's men had captured Gillian and Ben. If they caused trouble, Flynn and Hazel clearly wouldn't survive.
