  Jonathan's face registered shock at my outburst. "Wow, I didn't expect this from Maya-"

  "You have no right to speak about me," I asserted firmly, cutting him off with a glare.

  He shrugged casually, but Andrew remained silent, his expression unreadable.

  Raising an eyebrow, I directed my question squarely at Andrew. "Are you not going to do something about it?" I demanded, my voice tinged with frustration and a hint of desperation.

  "I can't stand to hear all the crap people are saying about me right now!" I grumbled angrily under my breath, continuing to pace back and forth in the room. "You know what I'm capable of if this isn't resolved."

  "Enough, Maya," Andrew finally interjected, his voice calm but firm.

  "Wow," I scoffed, shaking my head in disbelief. "Are your words suddenly limited?"
