Berton's POV
As soon as she was done signing, I decided to go through the contract to make sure that she was really done signing and there was nothing else she needed to sign. I noticed that she was looking up at me, probably because I'd paused while I was just about to tell her why she was signing the contract. I didn't blame her, it must be very strange for her and that was why she was very worried.
"Just give me a moment so I can look at this." I said and she nodded.
I continued to review the contract. Everything needed to be perfect because this contract wasn't Judy a formal agreement. It was a lifeline. After double-checking every clause and term, making sure that she'd signed every required space, I smiled and looked at her before gently putting the documents aside so I could tell her the reason.
I could see that she was brimming with anticipation and curiosity. I took a deep breath and went on.
