Emily's POV
I couldn't believe what I heard when he finally told me about the idea that my presence could soothe his wolf and stop him from becoming less irritated and always angry. Despite the way I was shocked by the information, I managed to keep my composure.
After all the help he had given me, I was also determined to assist him if I could. And helping him calm down his wolf wasn't bad at all. I just worried about being looked down with contempt and jealousy by others when I finally got to be seen around with him always. I wasn't ready for that kind of publicity, but I owed him my father's life. I had to do it, and I didn't have much of a problem with it. So what was there not to do?
