ALEXANDER'S POV
I sighed deeply, tapping my fingers in a rhythmic manner on top of my well polished, mahogany desk.
That was literally only the sound that could be heard aside from my deep breathing. The afternoon sun filled my office, giving it a warm, surreal glow but at this point, my focus was not in anything as my mind was already preoccupied.
I raised my eyes to the wall clock on the wall of my office, my fingers still on a rhythmic tap-tap. I sighed deeply, my patience already growing thin as I felt as though the time had suddenly remained stagnant. This was the day Nina had to go for the final jewelry designing competition and I could not wait to hear the good news of her winning the competition. This was her moment to shine and without a doubt, she deserved it.
