CHAPTER 50 ALEXANDER'S INTERVENTION

  NINA'S POV

After I had finished crying to my satisfaction, I brought up my head and stared at my reflection in the mirror. I looked so broken and nearly disoriented.

I pursed my lips, a deep sigh escaping as I closed my eyes. Just then, a single tear rolled down my cheeks but I didn't bother to clean it and just let it do as it pleases.

This was the worst day of my life….. literally. I honestly didn't know how to fix this mess, what had happened has already happened, the damage has already been done and it takes a miracle for it to get fixed. But unfortunately, such miracles rarely happen.

As I opened my eyes slowly, I was met with my reflection once again. A bitter smile formed on my lips as I stared at myself. This was not the Nina I knew, this was a totally different, weaker, broken version of my old self.
