CHAPTER 58 A RIVAL IN LOVE

  ALEXANDER'S POV

I stood at my penthouse window, looking out over the city. It was a beautiful sight, full of lights and energy. But today, it didn't impress me. My attention was focused on the phone in my hand. I couldn't stop thinking about the conversation I just had.

Nina had called me earlier and I just could not shake off the conversation we had. Her nervous laughter and confusion as she mentioned the second bouquet she had received from another person.

Who the hell could have sent her that gift? Could it be……Leo?!

As I thought of it, the name echoed in my mind like an out of pitch music note. Just then, a sharp, unfamiliar feeling stabbed me in my heart, twisting my guts. Could it be…. jealousy?

I felt a surge of possession towards Nina rise up within me, but why? She was not even mine. But then again, the thought of her receiving gifts from another man that was not me lit a fiery feeling in my veins, a feeling I had never felt before I met Nina.
