Elena's POV.
The early morning sun shone brightly, piercing my eyes and prompting a groan as I stretched my weary body. I had barely slept, and now daybreak was already upon me. I turned onto my side, rearranging my blanket and closing my eyes, craving more rest.
But then, reality hit me like a ton of bricks - I had class that morning! My eyes snapped open, and I let out a frustrated hiss. Why did we have to go to school, anyway?
I groaned, covering my face with my hands as I sat up. My gaze darted to the clock, and I winced - 6:09 AM. With a heavy sigh, I dragged myself to the bathroom, rubbing my tired eyes in a futile attempt to shake off the sleepiness.
