Anna's POV.
"Oh, you are still in love with Elena!" I exclaimed, my voice rising in anger.
Adams eyes flashed with irritation, and he asked, "Are you mad?"
I shot back, "You're the mad one, obviously!" He shook his head, "Anna, please, I don't have time for this." He tried to walk away, but I grabbed his arm, pulling him back.
"Now you don't have time for this, suddenly?" I spat, my voice trembling with rage. "Because it's not Elena talking to you, it's me!" I snarled, my anger boiling over.
Adam's face reddened, and he hissed, "I'm with you, not with her! Can't you see that?" But I shook my head, my eyes blazing.
"No, you're the one who can't see anything! You might be with me, but your heart beats for Elena!" I accused, my voice dripping with venom.
I couldn't help but confess, "I hate her. I hate her name. She's a pest in my life, a constant reminder of what I have lost."
