CHAPTER Sixty Seven Don't Give In

  Elena's POV.

  One week later.

The early morning sun shone directly into my eyes, and I groaned, tossing aside my pillow and covering my face. I wanted more sleep, craving the oblivion that only darkness could bring. I had stayed up late last night, and now my body was paying the price.

Just as I was starting to drift off again, a knock at the door interrupted my peace. I ignored it, hoping that whoever it was would take the hint and leave me alone. But the knock came again, more insistent this time, and I let out a hiss of frustration.

"Get out!" I roared, pulling the covers tighter around me and making myself more comfortable, willing the intruder to disappear.

But the knock came again, and I reluctantly got out of bed, holding my gown tight, ready to give the intruder a piece of my mind. I swung open the door, and my scowl disappeared as I saw my trainer standing there, a hint of amusement in his eyes.

"Oh," I pouted, my voice still husky from sleep.
