CHAPTER One Hundred Me And You Forever

  Elena's POV.

I turned around and faced Derek, sniffing back my tears. "Please, take me away from here," I begged, my voice trembling.

But Derek shook his head. "We can sort this out with your dad," he said, trying to reason with me. I moved away from him, frustration etched on my face.

"What's there to sort out? He's not ready to listen. He's adamant about not making this work. Why do we have to beg him? He doesn't consider me his daughter. If he did, I wouldn't be begging him," I said, my eyes darting to my father with a mix of anger and sadness.

My father scoffed, shifting his gaze away from me.

"Elena, you're acting out of anger," Derek said calmly. I looked at him, my eyes pleading.

"Do you love me?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. Derek nodded, and I begged again, "Then take me away."

He hugged me tight, and I began to sob into his chest, finally allowing myself to release the emotions I had been holding back.
