CHAPTER 53: Gabriel's Mate

  Sinclair's pov

  I held Blair's arm tightly as she ran behind me, tears flowing down her cheeks. It's impossible for Gabriel to have found her scent. He definitely lied to everyone, and they'll take his word without even batting an eye.

  "Sinclair Blackwood, do you dare to intrude in this activity?" One of the elders asked, and I looked at his face closely. He was the same person I allocated a division of my estate to, even though he wasn't even worthy of it.

  "I don't want to believe you just asked me that question. " I snapped back and stood my ground.

  "Sinclair, don't start something you can't finish. I found my mate, get over it, and stop standing in our way!" Gabriel roared, but I wasn't moved at all.

  "I am not your mate, Gabriel! I can never be! You're obviously lying to The Council just to satisfy your disgusting selfishness!" Blair slurred, and everyone gasped.
