CHAPTER 64: Moment of Triumph

  I couldn't contain my happiness, so I begged Dorothy to drop me off, my feet tapping impatiently on the floorboard as I gazed out at the familiar streets.

  I was eager to get home quickly and start cooking Sinclair's favorite meal for dinner, the aroma of sizzling vegetables and savory spices already playing in my mind.

  "Blair, you don't know how happy I am that we've finally solved this puzzle that wanted to go eat the life out of you.." Dorothy said, her voice warm and relieved, as she pulled over a few blocks away from the house.

  Then, I strolled towards the house, feeling carefree. "Just wait until Gabriel finds out that his little lying game is finally over," I said to myself, skipping into the house with a spring in my step.
