CHAPTER 87: No buts

  Blair's pov

  I lay on the bed, unwilling to do anything at all except eat and scroll through my phone until I fell asleep but the constant calls from Sinclair made me toss my phone somewhere underneath the bed where I won't pick it out again in the meantime.

  Dorothy brought some food for me, but I wasn't in the mood to eat anything at the moment.

  "Do you think I did the right thing by running away?" I asked and sat up on the bed.

  "I honestly can't tell if you did the right thing, but I know for a fact that you're taking care of your peace of mind at the moment.." she replied, and I lowered my head.

  "Alright then." I replied reluctantly and took the tray of food from her hands.

  "Uhhm, I have news for you, by the way. The coronation is in a week's time, " Dorothy said, and the spoon in my hand froze mid-air..

  "What?" I asked without expecting an answer, obviously. How come the coronation is in a week's time?
