CHAPTER 88: The Coronation

  Blair's pov

Just like that, the day of the coronation finally came. I sat in front of the mirror as Dorothy styled my hair, even though she still was against my decision to attend in the first place.

As I stared into the mirror and saw my reflection, I couldn't help but think about how beautiful my life would have been if Gabriel wasn't in the picture, or if I wasn't too insensitive....

"You look ravishing, Blair..." Dorothy whispered and gently rubbed my back. I smiled and gave her a hug as I left the house and got into the Uber we already ordered minutes ago.

"Be careful, please, and don't forget to call me the moment you need something!" Dorothy yelled after me and didn't stop waving at the car until we got far away from sight.

My hands were shaky as we drove down the streets, and I started thinking about going back. I checked my phone and all the texts Sinclair left for me. I still had not opened them, let alone seen the contents of the texts.
