CHAPTER 116: Rescued at what cost?

"Blair!

Blair, talk to me!" That voice...

My hopes skyrocketed as I felt a pair of hands actively pressing down on me, and in a split second, I threw up all the water, jolting back to life.

I slowly opened my eyes, and even though my vision was still very blurry, I could tell whose silhouette towered above me like a wall.  

Turning to my right, Sinclair stood there, boring his eyes into mine. I couldn't see the expression on his face clearly, but I was happy he came for me. Imagine I actually died in that tub?

"Blair, what on earth were you thinking?" Caleb asked, grabbing my hand and rubbing it together with his to warm me up. I slowly pulled my hand away from him as rage built up again inside me.

"Don't raise your voice at her ever again, Caleb.." Sinclair warned, carrying me in his arms and out of wherever it was that I was in.
