My heart weighed heavy with guilt and confusion, but I forced myself to push those feelings aside. After changing my clothes, I made my way to Draven's room, determined to mask my inner turmoil. I couldn't let him see how my mind was tangled in overthinking, making it hard to focus on anything else.

When I knocked on his door, it swung open abruptly. His scent, a mix of something woodsy and clean, immediately enveloped me, drawing me in.

"Come in," he commanded, sensing my hesitation. I stepped inside, and he closed the door behind me with a soft click.

"Sit there," he said, gesturing to the chair beside him. I moved to the chair, but my mind was still racing, lost in the maze of my thoughts.

He sat beside me, his presence immediately commanding my attention. "Can we talk about our psychology project right now?" he asked, his eyes intense and unwavering. "And I need to study with someone else," he added, his gaze making me feel a bit awkward.
