"No," I whispered, horror dawning on me. "No, that can't be right. I never meant to send that. It was… it was just a draft. Something I wrote when I was overwhelmed, but I never meant to send it."
Cedric's eyes narrowed, his voice tight. "But you did. And we all got it. We thought you were serious, that you were… ending things."
I looked at each of them, the pain in their eyes like a dagger to my chest. I hadn't meant for this to happen. It was just a draft, something I'd written in a moment of weakness, a way to sort through my feelings without burdening them. I didn't want to push them away, not really.
"I didn't know," I said, my voice trembling. "I didn't mean to send it. I'm so sorry."
I know I wrote that with all of my heart, I wrote that because that was the best, there's no way of turning back at that one. I have to be honest, I just didn't expect I sent that at the wrong time.
