Lydia's POV
I've gotten accustomed to sleeping less and still being functional at my university. I haven't left that toxic habit behind, but at times like this, it saves my job. Throwing on a loose button up shirt and black office pants, I check for any signs of tiredness on my face. I'm hungry as hell, too. So might as well fix my stomach before fixing my sleep schedule.
"Bye, Grace!" Greeting the woman for the day, I walk out of our apartment, closing the door behind me softly. I pass by Levi's apartment nonchalantly. Taking my commute to the Hockey Daily station, I sigh before entering the reception.
"Good morning!" The receptionist chirps. What's so chirpy and optimistic about a Thursday morning, Amanda? Or...whatever her name is. Taking the lift to my floor, I start dreading my office life already. It hasn't even been one whole week!
