Lydia's POV
My ears are ringing. The thunder that struck before had deafened all my senses as I stared back at the beast with wide eyes. The beast is still looking right through my soul. It can smell the fear out of me, yet...it does not make a move. What is happening right now? I am not able to fathom anything. Literally...nothing.
You know that instance when your life flashes in front of your eyes, and you are just trying to survive? Well, the science behind it is working on me right now.
The gratefulness I feel towards everyone is starting to surface, overwhelmingly. My parents, I want to thank you for giving birth to, me. Then, my high school taught me how to be myself. Grace deserves the best of my gratitude for all the efforts she takes to cook me scrumptious meals every day and take care of me. Levi, my colleagues, everyone else. I'm thankful for everyone.
I'm overthinking this, aren't I?
