CHAPTER 69: My identity

  Lydia's POV

"H-How long is it going to take for him to wake up, doctor?" I ask the doctor after a while of silence.

"I could say it would take a few days. But since he's been such a champ, maybe just a few more hours. I would ask you to send a relative of his, someone close to him so that he can talk to them after he wakes up. If I could be honest, I am not sure of the state he will wake up in. So prepare yourself for the best." I nod my head, gathering the information he says.

Well, I have to simply wait until Levi gains consciousness. He must be sound asleep now, I bet.

At around midnight, I couldn't bring myself to keep stalling Grace's concerned texts anymore as I finally replied to her.

[Hey... I'm sorry I'm held up at work today, Gracie. I'm staying at a friend's house later too. I'll call you later!]

Having texted that, I lean back on the metal chair and look up at the ceiling. How did I end up in this? How did I discover Levi isn't normal? What is he even?
