CHAPTER 62: Precised Action

  Bennett's POV

Disaster seemed imminent as we stood before the Nightshade Pack's den, surrounded by snarling guards. The air was electric with tension, and we knew we had to tread carefully to avoid a fight.

I stepped forward, my hands raised in a calming gesture. "We mean no harm. We're here to speak with the Alpha."

The guards growled, their eyes flashing with hostility. One of them, a burly wolf with a scar above his left eyebrow, sneered at me. "You're from Silvercrest Pack. What business do you have here?"

Hunter stood tall, his eyes locked on the guard. "We're here to rescue Emma. She's one of us, and we won't leave without her."

The guard snarled, baring his teeth. "You'll have to go through us first."

Parker shifted uncomfortably, his eyes darting between the guards. He knew we were outnumbered and outmatched. But he also knew we couldn't back down now.
