CHAPTER 63: Half Blood

  Emma's POV

I stood tall, my eyes locked on the Alpha's. "I'm leaving, with or without your approval," I said, my voice firm. The last thing I wanted to do was bend to his will. If he thought that he could command me like one of his servants or guards then he was mistaken.

I would never bow for him because I was no longer a member of this Pack and never will be. I would rather they tie a rope around my neck and drop me in the middle of the ocean, than ever return to this pack that had once suffocated me and made me believe that I was no one of importance. All my life I had been having the same belief that I was no one and would forever be nothing in the pack because I just didn't fit.

The Alpha's face twisted in a snarl, his eyes flashing with anger. "You'll never leave this pack again, Emma," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "You belong here, and I won't let you go." He was starting to agitate me and I hated that feeling.
