CHAPTER 97: A Mother's Love

  Emma's pov

As I relaxed in my mother's embrace, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. I had never felt so safe, so loved. The warmth of her arms was like a balm to my soul, soothing away years of hurt and longing.

For the first time in my life, I felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be. I felt like I had finally found my missing piece, my sense of belonging.

As I drifted off to sleep, my heart was full. I knew that I still had questions, still had things to work through with her. But at that moment, none of that mattered. All that mattered was the love I felt, the love that surrounded me like a warm hug.

I slept with a smile on my face, my mother's arms still wrapped tightly around me. And for the first time since my childhood, I felt like I was home.

The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and renewed. I looked over at my mother, who was still sleeping peacefully beside me. I smiled, feeling grateful for this new chapter in our lives.
