CHAPTER 10: Encountered with a stranger

　　Isabelle joined John in the VIP area, her eyes locking onto his as she approached. Upon reaching him, she took a seat beside him and john instinctively wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her close.

　　"How was your day?" she inquired, settling into his side.

　　"It was uneventful and lacking without your presence. I found it challenging to focus on my tasks." John responded introspectively, feeling the heavy weight of his task.

　　"I understand the sentiment. I attended a lecture today and had the pleasure of meeting my friend Emily. However, my thoughts kept drifting back to you." Isabelle murmured letting out a warm and genuine smile.

　　As they continued with their conversation their conversation flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter and ease. However, John's expression soon turned serious.
