Next day Isabelle woke up so early and slipped out of bed, her movements swift and silent. She dressed in the dim morning light, her hands shaking slightly as she buttoned her blouse. She grabbed her bag and crept out of the room, avoiding the creaky floorboards she held out of the house and called a taxi who drove her off to campus.
Rachel already woke up and she was attracted by Isabelle's movements. Her eyes narrowed as she watched Isabelle from her window, she saw her as she entered the taxi and the taxi pulled up its headlights illuminating the dark street.
"I'll drive by at the campus," Isabelle said softly as she entered the taxi, her face hidden behind the tinted glass.
Rachel's fingers drummed against the windowpane with her mind racing. "The campus!" She said to herself and she quickly grabbed her phone and dialed Alex's number.
"She's leaving, get to campus and keep an eye on her." Rachel whispered urgently.
