Christian’s POV
The room was dimly lit, with only the faint glow of the streetlights outside filtering through the curtains, casting soft shadows across the walls.
I could feel the warmth of Hannah’s hand in mine, and though I knew I was still a little tipsy, the alcohol had begun to wear off, leaving me with the stark clarity of my emotions.
Hannah’s face was soft, contemplative, as she absorbed everything I had just confessed. I could see the confusion in her eyes, the uncertainty that mirrored my own.
But beneath that, there was something else, a tenderness that I hadn’t allowed myself to hope for.
“I need to tell you everything, Hannah,” I began, my voice a little rough from both the drink and the strain of holding back for so long.
“My emotions that I’ve kept inside for far too long. And now I feel they are suffocating me, I want to tell everything in my heart.”
She didn’t say anything, just nodded slightly, encouraging me to go on.
