Christian's POV
I could hardly believe my ears. As Hannah stood at the top of the stairs and said that she wanted to give this relationship a try, a surge of joy and disbelief washed over me. I had been hoping, waiting for this moment for what felt like forever. And now, it is finally happening.
"Really?" I asked, my voice thick with emotion, though the wide grin on my face gave away my true feelings.
Hannah nodded, her eyes filled with a mixture of shyness and determination. "Really," she affirmed, her words a balm to the hope I had carried for so long.
My heart soared as if all the weight of my worries and doubts had lifted in an instant. This was the moment I had longed for since I realized my feelings for Hannah went far beyond friendship.
I had always sensed something special about her, something that made me feel alive in a way I hadn't in years. But hearing her say she was willing to give us a chance was more than I had dared to hope for.
