CHAPTER 58: Unspoken Truths

  Hannah's POV

Sitting at my desk, I was absorbed in my work when a soft knock on the door pulled my attention away from the screen. I looked up to see Christian's assistant.

"Miss Hannah these are for you," She was holding the most breathtaking bouquet of roses I had ever seen. My heart skipped a beat as I realized they were for me.

"For me?" I said as she handed me the bouquet. The vibrant red and white roses were stunning, and the delicate scent filled the air around me, instantly lifting my mood. I saw an envelope in Christian's familiar handwriting.

"Thank you," I managed to say, feeling my cheeks warm as I accepted the flowers. She left, I couldn't help but smile, my heart fluttering with anticipation.

Carefully, I set the bouquet on my desk and reached for the envelope. My fingers trembled slightly as I opened it, as I read each word, my heart swelled with emotion. I had been hesitant, unsure if opening myself up to this relationship was the right thing to do.
