Hannah POV
I sat there in silence, my thoughts swirling in a chaotic mess as Christian’s words echoed in my mind.
The room felt suddenly too small, the dim lighting casting shadows that seemed to mirror the confusion and uncertainty inside me.
I could feel Christian’s gaze on me, heavy with the weight of everything he had just confessed, but I couldn’t bring myself to meet his eyes. I was too stunned, too overwhelmed.
Christian had just told me he had feelings for me—feelings he’d been hiding for who knows how long.
I had always seen him as a reliable colleague, someone who was kind, supportive, and easy to talk to. But I had never imagined that his kindness ran deeper than just friendship. And now, knowing the truth, I didn’t know what to think.
It changed everything.
The silence between us grew heavier with each passing second. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, my mind racing as I tried to process what he had said.
