Genevieve's POV
"God, I hope that little boy is going to be okay," Adelina said while we waited in the hospital lobby.
Mom was pacing back and forth, nervously biting her nails.
We were waiting for the doctor to give us news about Noah's condition.
"He'll be fine, Genevieve," Gio reassured me, and I nodded.
A few minutes later, the doctor came out of the ER.
I sat up immediately as Mom rushed over to him.
"Doctor, how's my son doing?" Mom queried.
"Is he going to be alright?" Adelina asked.
"Yes, he's fine. He just passed out, but he's sleeping at the moment."
"Oh... thank you, Lord," Adelina sighed.
He's fine. He'll be alright.
Mom sagged in relief. "But what happened to him? Is there any cause to worry about his health?"
"No, calm down, Mrs. Miller. Nothing's wrong with Noah; he's in perfect health. What happened was nothing serious or life-threatening. He just suffered vasovagal syncope."
