Dominic's POV
I watched Jocelyn go on and on about how close we used to be. I wasn't interested in this conversation and I don't know why she's saying all of this.
"That was a long time ago, Jocelyn. Things change." I replied to her.
She continued talking and I said nothing. I could sense the frustration in her tone, she wanted me to react, but I wasn't going to.
The servant who I had instructed to get her something to drink came back this time with a tray in his hand and set a glass of wine in front of her.
She took a sip of the wine and kept talking about the past times that I didn't want to revisit. Since high school, Jocelyn had been no less than a thorn in my side, always so possessive, even then, with her trying to claim me in ways I'd never agree to. And if she saw me with any other girl, she'd go out of her way to make their lives hell. And always got away with it, due to her father's influence.
