Luca's POV
"They're taking her!" I yelled, words no sooner out of my mouth as Alessandro and I skidded to a stop at the edge of campus. What met my eyes sent a cold shiver running down into the bottom of my spine. Four men in masks were shoving Leila into the flank of a black van. She lay limp, unconscious. My heart painfully contracted at that view.
We gotta go, Now!" Alessandro yelled out, his eyes wide with alarm.
I didn't need to hear anything else. I ran forward, feet pounding the pavement in my frantic attempt at trying to catch up. "Hey!" I loudly called to get the attention of the masked men. "Get away from her!"
The others turned their head; behind the mask, his eyes slit. He growled something at the rest of them, and with that, the back door slammed shut and the motor roared to life.
"Stop them!" Alessandro yelled, drawing out his gun. He let off two shots in the air, but the van was taking off, screeching its tires.
