CHAPTER 81 Uneasy Instincts

  "Let's wind this up, Mr. Rossini," I said, checking my time. Thus for hours I sat in this meeting and could not manage to focus my attention despite trying very hard- my mind flowed in the direction of Leila. "I believe we have talked about everything."

  On the contrary, into the dreamy smile overspreading his face, Richard Rossini sank back in his chair. "Of course, Dominic. I understand. Business can't wait forever. After all, family is important."

  I forced a polite smile. It was about time this conversation ended. "Yes, family is important." I nodded to my secretary, Laura, to walk him out. "We'll have our lawyers draft out the agreement and send it across."

  "Perfect," said Richard, getting to his feet and straightening his tie. "Always a pleasure doing business with you, Dominic. I expect good news."
