CHAPTER 90 Love And Repentance

  Luca's POV

  "Where is Leila?" The words had just left my lips, and the pain was alive; emanating from my shoulder, I felt a truck had been driven over me, but nothing mattered, not so long as I saw her. I wrestled my body upwards, unaware of the fire spreading from my wound.

  "Mr Luca, please relax," A nurse said, pushing me back against the pillow. "You need to rest."

  "Rest?" I snorted, wincing as searing pain riveted through my body. "I'll rest when I see her. Where is she?"

  "We'll bring her here," she cooed, playing with the IV stuck in my arm. "But you need to stay calm. The bullet did some serious damage.

  Since it had happened, all I'd been thinking of was Leila, I haven't seen her. Panic was rising; I had to see her, needed to know she was all right. All that could now come into my mind was the panic state she would be in with everything that happened.
